The Opportunity

As a Trainer at Canopy, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our clients to maximize the potential of our innovative solutions. You'll collaborate with clients of various sizes including SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise. You will conduct webinars, and deliver tailored training sessions to drive success. This role offers the perfect blend of challenge and reward for individuals passionate about making an impact at a high-growth tech company. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide comprehensive training to external customers on the features and functionalities of Canopy's Accounting Practice Management Software.
  • Collaborate with clients at all levels to understand their unique training needs and customize training programs accordingly.
  • Work closely with the implementation team to deliver additional training sessions for larger clients during the onboarding and implementation phases.
  • Conduct webinars and one-off training sessions with clients as needed, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Quickly adapt to new tools and technologies to support client training needs.
  • Communicate effectively both internally and externally, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Document training processes and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, embracing ambiguity and proactively seeking solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in training, preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • Experience working with Enterprise, Mid-Market, and SMB-level clients, understanding their training needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Proficiency in quickly learning new tools and technologies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, particularly with implementation teams, to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Experience conducting webinars and delivering engaging training sessions to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on documenting processes and best practices.

Interviewing @ Canopy:

We know application processes can be a little stressful. Here’s are the stages of a typical interview process:

  • Once your application is received, we will review it and get back to you if we feel like it’s a mutual fit!
  • 20 minute phone call with the People Team
  • 45-60 minute video or in-person interview with the Hiring Manager
  • 1-3 rounds of interviews depending on the role
  • Final Interview

Interview processes can vary depending on the role. The People Team will give you a role specific overview of the process during your first phone call.
