The Opportunity

As a Data and Professional Services Specialist, you will be a dedicated resource for our customers to assist in building out custom reports using our insights tool in their Canopy system. You will collaborate with our Sales Engineers and product specialists to get all the information necessary to build out a successful Insights report. You will also collaborate with our Product teams to provide feedback on how to make Canopy Insights even better.

What You’ll Do:

  • Verify data accuracy and ensure consistency across different platforms.
  • Communicate with customers to gather necessary information for Insights reporting.
  • Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their data migration.
  • Work closely with the implementation and R&D teams to ensure smooth data migration.
  • Assist in troubleshooting data entry issues and provide solutions.
  • Conduct regular checks and audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the relevant teams promptly.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all data entry activities.
  • Create and update documentation related to data entry processes and customer workflows.
  • Suggest improvements to data entry processes and tools.
  • Build demo environments and work with sales to deliver a technical demo of Insights to potential clients.
  • Partner with Canopy customers to design, build, and maintain custom reports.
  • Analyze data sets and provide recommendations for structuring reports and dashboards
  • Build reporting to provide actionable insights for customers.
  • Stay updated with the latest Canopy product updates.
  • Develop rapport with customers to understand their business needs and provide guidance.
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, and timeliness in deliverables to customers.
  • Support demos of Canopy Insights to existing and potential customers

The skills you’ll need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or related field.
  • Proficiency in using data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms and basic knowledge of database management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of workflow and work-in-progress (WIP) concepts.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Project management. Organizational skills, creativity, curiosity, and a solution-oriented focus are a must.

Interviewing @ Canopy:

We know application processes can be a little stressful. Here’s are the stages of a typical interview process:

  • Once your application is received, we will review it and get back to you if we feel like it’s a mutual fit!
  • 20 minute phone call with the People Team
  • 45-60 minute video or in-person interview with the Hiring Manager
  • 1-3 rounds of interviews depending on the role
  • Final Interview

Interview processes can vary depending on the role. The People Team will give you a role specific overview of the process during your first phone call.
